Why isn't 'Batgirl' a valid career choice?

Hello there, gentle Buzznet readers.  As you may know, Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince opens this week (at least, here in the US it does!).  And as you also know, HBP is where the fight against You-Know-Who is stepped up, with great casualities.  Page 606, you will not be forgotten.

ANYWAY, here's my point.  For the next week, let's imagine Buzznet has the power to fight He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named.  And how do we do that?  Well, since we're pretty short on wands, brooms, charms and...um...magic...we're gonna have to do it the old fashioned way.  No, not fisticuffs: with the power The Dark Lord knows not!

Love.

So, Buzznet, I'm declaring Buzzlove week.  Where the emphasis is on the stuff on Buzznet you, well, love!  People, photos, videos, BANDS, blogs...let's take a week where we give our full attention to those we love.  And, at the same time, shun the stuff we hate.  Because hate feeds the power of the Death Eaters, right?  Hate leads to the Dark Side...wait, wait, wrong analogy, crap. 

Anyway, while you're praising what you love, IGNORE WHAT YOU HATE.  I know the temptation to snark is powerful, hell, considering who's writing this blog!  But the point is, if you see something that deals with something you hate, be it an issue, a person, an idea or even a BAND, don't click on it.  Don't comment on it.  Ignore it.  Go somewhere else and leave twice as many positive comments.  Picspam your friends.  Make new friends, join new groups!  But all in all: LOVE.  Because that ish is what can kill ANYTHING THAT THRIVES ON HATE to become more powerful.

And remember, Buzznet.  I love you.

(I'm hoping that even if you're not down with the Potter analogy, you'll join us in Buzzlove week.  It just seemed like a good time to do this, with the movie opening and all!)
