I have lost my marked-up copy of Pale Fire and haven't read it since BACK IN THE DAY (kickin it old skool style, yo) and trying to justify what I know to be true without either of those things (notes or a recent reread) in front of me is SIDEWAYS UP TEH ASS death. On the other hand, I was able to need the quote I needed out of a library copy of Foucault's Pendulum in less than two minutes. Score one for insane photographic memory. Sitting here listening to sha-pud (I should email that to you) and wishing other people in the computer lab would shut the hell up on their cell phones. I love you. The point of this story is that I should have been kicking them all with my boots.

The revolution already happened. It was televised, but in the midnight block on Sci-Fi. Halfway through it was pre-empted by "Chupacabra IV: The Goats Strike Back." If you didn't have your TIVO set? You're fucked.

It wasn't all that great anyway. Our revolution isn't worth much in the end.

That's how it works.
