Why isn't 'Batgirl' a valid career choice?

The comic book movie gallery posted yesterday by The Mighty Mendoza got me thinking: which comic book should get made into a movie next?

With the Super Bowl over, I am free to stop really caring about sports until the Summer Olympics in Beijing, China begin in August (okay, with a brief rekindled interest during the X-Games...). So I have to know, what do buzznetters like watching when it comes to the Summer Olympic games?

Currently I'm reading Scott Westerfield's Uglies and it made me realize I believe much more in the possibility of a future dystopia than in a future utopia.

So, which of these literary dystopias do you think is the most likely to happen?

So, it's been announced that Hollywood is planning a film version of Gibson's classic cyberpunk novel Neuromancer. They also announced they have high hopes for the film since Hayden Christenson has already been mentioned as a possible choice to play Case, the story's protagonist.

My question is, how is Hollywood going to completely fuck this up?

(PS: I'm aware the quote I used for the name of this poll is a Dick quote, not Gibson. I was trying to be witty. If I failed, I blame a faulty Go To line.)

First it was Republican Mike Huckabee being supported by Chuck Norris and appearing on tv to ask satirist Stephen Colbert to be his Vice Presidential Candidate. But now, Democrat Barack Obama is being backed by Fall Out Boy bassist Pete Wentz:

H&M fashions is releasing a benefit line of tee-shirts with profits going towards AIDS research (similar to GAP's RED campaign) in a campaign called FASHION AGAINST AIDS. They have recruited artists such as Rihanna, Timbaland, Scissor Sisters, Good Charlotte, Ziggy Marley and My Chemical Romance to design the shirts.

So, what other artistically minded artist would you like to see design a shirt for H&M?
